Welcome to the home of Chance Hammock Photography! Thanks for taking the time to look around. Based in Alexandria and serving the greater Washington area, I’m an on-location photographer. We’ll shoot in one of your favorite spots, or I’m always happy to suggest a location.

Chance
I was born and raised in suburban Atlanta, Georgia. Before attending Brigham Young University-Idaho, I spent a few years in Wyoming and California. When I’m not busy with photography or my day job, I enjoy softball, bowling, and playing games with friends (my latest find is Ticket to Ride:Europe. What a great game!).

Jenny
Jenny and I have been married for eight years. She’s been my biggest cheerleader and my best critic. She occasionally joins me on photo shoots and always finds a shot or two I may have missed.

She’s a California girl but spent most of her youth in Boise, Idaho. She earned a Bachelor’s in English Education from Brigham Young University-Idaho and spent two years teaching high school English.
